My Story
I fell into my Scentsy business totally not knowing what I had in my hands.I came across Scentsy in July 2009.I went to my home town for the4th of July parade, and crafts and trade event that is held every year.Thats when I first came in contact with Scentsy.I purchased a warmer and some bars.I couldn't wait to get home to use this new product. You see,the big reason why I was so excited to try this product was,since the year of 2000,I had a house fire due to a candle .It was a small fire and I was able to put it out myself,But I still couldn't believe how much damage this caused. After that fire, I told myself that I would never use a traditional candle again! So, it seemed that I was always on a qwest to find the best product out there, that would give my home that warm ,cozy and fresh smell that a traditional candle provides.And to confirm that fact that I would never use another traditional candle again,my sister had a fire at her house and that did major damage.They actually had to move their family out for a couple of months while their home was remodeled. The first time I used my warmer I knew that I was in LOVE! Everytime I would turn my warmer on I kept thinking that I wanted to get another one, and that I wanted to share them with my family as well.So I took the warmer to work with me because I own a salon and we use alot of chemicals that have strong oders.I simply just thought my clients would enjoy this a well as I did.So for about 3 days I would take my warmer to work and then back home again with me.Thats when I said enough,"I'm looking into this company,I want to get everyone in my family a warmer".Thats what happened,I signed up as a consultant without any intentions of selling this product,I just wanted the discount. I left my warmer at work because I spent more time there than I did at home.As I was working on a client, she asked me where she could purchased a warmer at ? I told her my whole story about how I ended up becoming a consultant and that I could get her one if she would like me to.Thats when I knew that I had something wonderful! Thats when it all started,before I knew it I was doing bookparties and doing really well on them.Then my mother had a house party for me.She invited at least 25 people.All of them came to her party.Only 1 woman had even heard of this company.AMAZING!! Like I said that was in July 2009 by the end of december 2009 I had already achieved all my goals that I had made for myself and more! I became a Director within 4 months of starting this amazing company.I have met wonderful women through this company and that I didn't even think about.I think that has been my highlight.Not to mention a company where you actually make money! This, I have been so thankful for in a tough economy.That was one of the things I couldn't believe is how my Scentsy business was growing in leeps and bounds.As well as my team! But to see my team doing so well and knowing that this money was a godsend to them as well.UNBELIEVABLE!!! . I could go on and on about why I love this company, and what I get to do, when I want to do it ,how I want to do it.This is why I think this company works so well for most people.I have Three wonderful kids,a wonderful husband,(who by the way, is very supportive since he seen the amount of my paychecks) a full time business running a salon and working full time a s well.Oh ya,I also have business property with 3 other buisness as tenants,Ya some people say," I don't have the time, I'm to busy! " Well ,I totally understand,I don't think of this as another job,I think of this as "ME TIME"! Meeting new friends at different places,having fun with the scents and how they remind us about something in or past that usually had a good memory with it.And I get paid for "ME TIME!" If you love Scentsy ,or haven't even tried the products yet, or maybe looking for extra income,I'm telling you THIS IS THE COMPANY FOR YOU!!!
